Screening
Screening aims to detect cancer at an early stage, before it causes symptoms. There are no reliable screening tests for pancreatic cancer for people who are at average risk.
For people who have a family history of pancreatic cancer, genetic tests can be done to assess the risk of pancreatic cancer. People at higher risk may be monitored using a test called an endoscopic ultrasound.
