Management of women at high risk of ovarian cancer: a systematic review

A systematic review was undertaken to identify literature published between January 2003 and April 2010 on risk management strategies for women at high risk of ovarian cancer. Risk management strategies include surveillance, risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy (RRSO), tubal ligation and chemoprevention with the oral contraceptive pill (OCP). The purpose of the systematic review was to inform development of the Recommendations for management of women at high risk of ovarian cancer.
