Executive summary of BNC-1. This project was initiated by the National Breast Cancer Centre (NBCC) with the aim of defining a set of SBN Competency Standards considered integral to optimising outcomes for women with breast cancer. These Standards have been designed to be inclusive of and complementary to existing nursing competency standards and contemporary breast cancer care.
