Culturally safe communication skills – tips for non-Indigenous health professional

The resource comprises a series of short videos and a key messages tip sheet providing practical advice for cancer care specialists to optimise culturally safe and responsive communication with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, their families and carers.

The videos feature medical oncologists, cancer care co-ordinators, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Liaison Officers and Health Workers, as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with cancer.
