Australian Cancer Plan
Cancer touches every Australian in some way.
Across Australia, health professionals, charities and other organisations are working tirelessly to care for and support people affected by cancer. Researchers are seeking new ways of preventing, diagnosing, treating and living with the disease in all its forms. And governments, policy makers and industry groups are developing plans, frameworks and strategies to guide and shape future activity.
The pace of this important work is often constrained by system-level factors and the impact of new models of care and ways of working is often limited to certain cancer types or geographic areas.
The Australian Cancer Plan (ACP) aims to change this picture.
This is our opportunity to design and deliver a ground-breaking national plan to identify and address critical issues in cancer control that need collaborative, coordinated and national action.
We have strong foundations to build on but we know we can do better.
We invite you to join the conversation.
We encourage you to challenge our thinking
We urge you to work with us to help create a transformative Australian Cancer Plan for all Australians.
